Boondocks Café is a San Antonio–based café operating inside commercial office buildings near the Medical Center.
We’re growing and looking for reliable, team-first people to join us in both front-of-house and kitchen roles.

We divide our roles into two categories: Front and Back of House
Team Members maintain a shared list of responsibilities in order for operations to run smoothly. Everybody helps everybody!

• Morning Prep:

  • Brew Coffee

  • Brew Tea

  • Stock beverage and snack racks

• End of Day Tasks:

  • Clean surfaces

  • Inventory Checks

  • Dishes

• Take orders from customers using our POS system.

• Maintain a clean and organized front of house

• Light kitchen support as needed

• $11–$13/hr

• Morning Food Prep:

  • Warm up Meats

  • Cook bacon

  • Whisk eggs

  • Etc.

• End of Day Tasks:

  • Cleaning

  • Dishes

  • Restocking

  • Inventory Checks

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

• Maintain food temps during all service hours

• Prepare menu items to order during service

• $12–$14/hr

Final offers are based on skills, experience, and availability.

• Dependable and punctual

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs

• Ability to work around heat and cooking equipment

• Food service or customer service experience is a plus (we’re happy to train!)

• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• No nights or weekends

• Closed most major holidays (paid)
